It's here to augment my personality
It's not here to replace it
I am not a geek
Nor do I think our future's bleak

But sometimes when I'm feeling rough
I let my dark side out
And I will write a thought or two
Instead of scream and shout

I'll build a project, write a song
I'll get my thoughts and feelings wrong
I'll think in circles, make mistakes
Then go to bed with another headache

Some of what is said here
Some people say does not belong
It stays as my opinion
But only until I'm proved wrong

I like to listen
Like to speak
Conversations go all week
I like to think
I like to act
I run a mile from any pact

But if you find a dreary moment
Or contemplate a deep thought through
Send me your web of thoughts
I won't promise I'll understand
But I will read and listen
And maybe one day that bubble blue
Will start to glow and glisten
